Virginia Ruth Craig Evans Todd

Virginia Ruth Craig Evans Todd, 85, of Gravette, Arkansas died April 12, 2017. She was born April 17, 1931 to the late Walter and Ada Craig in rural South West City, Missouri. She graduated from South West City High School in 1949. She spent all her life in Northwest Arkansas. She retired from Farmers Co-op and Farmers Supply in Gravette, Arkansas. Virginia was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gravette since 1952. She volunteered at Care and Share in Gravette and enjoyed yard work and quilting. She especially enjoyed looking after Cora and Gabriel. Preceded in death by both husbands, Nathan Evans Jr. 1973 and Leroy Todd 2002; a son Steven Evans 1977; daughter, Vicki Hearne 2015; four brothers, Leroy, Paul, Eugene and Donald Craig; sister, Lavonne Jones and great granddaughter, Cora Follbaum. Survivors include her granddaughter, Cassandra J. Owen of Gravette, Arkansas; great-grandson, Gabriel Follbaum of Gravette; many nieces, nephews and cousins. A visitation will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 17th at First Baptist Church of Gravette, 305 Main St, Gravette, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. Burial will be at the Gravette Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Gabriel Follbaum, Sonny, Wesley, Dwayne, Tim, Larry and Carol Craig. Honorary pallbearers are, Gene Baker, Bob Choate, Tim Craig, Ralph and Gary Todd. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Gravette. Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory.
