Emma Ruth Nixon

Emma Ruth Nixon, 86 of Springdale, Ark. passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016 in Springdale. She was born November 24, 1929 in Watonga, Okla. to Homer Myers and Beatrice (Warren) Myers. She was a homemaker. She is survived by three sons, James Daniel Myers of Huntsville, Ark., Coleman Ray Nixon of Wasilla, Alaska, Martin C. Nixon of Gravette, Ark., one daughter, Margie Johnson of Springdale, Ark. one sister, Okemah Litteral of Forum, Ark., seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 29th from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Friday September 30th in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Reverend Don Nye officiating. Burial will follow at Alabam Cemetery.
