George Wayne Dobbs Sr.

George Wayne Dobbs Sr., age 73 of Hindsville, went to be with the Lord on September 6, 2016. He was born July 22, 1943 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the son of Lloyd and Mary Gerlach Dobbs. He was a United States Army Veteran in the Vietnam Era, a member of the House of Worship Church in Hindsville, a poultry farmer and a past truck driver for Georges Feed Mill and a true "Hero to many people". He was preceded in death by his parents, one son; Lloyd Dobbs and a granddaughter, Julie Robinson. Mr. Dobbs is survived by his wife, Ann Dobbs of the home. One son, Wayne Dobbs of Hindsville, Arkansas. Two daughters and son's-in-law: Mary Foster and David of Claremore, Oklahoma and Shannon Bussell and Lyle of Huntsville, Arkansas. One brother, Leslie Dobbs of Oklahoma, three sisters; Mary Pianalto of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Linda Wright of Springdale, Arkansas and Kay Trammell of Mountain View, Arkansas, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Ave. Springdale, Arkansas. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, September 12, 2016 at the House of Worship Church, Hwy. 303 N., Hindsville, Arkansas with Brother Bill Williams and Brother Dee Bartholomew officiating, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elm Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be; David Foster, Josh Merideth, Eddie Johnson, Ronnie Watkins, Jeff Johnson and Lyle Bussell. Honorary Pallbearer will be Wayne Dobbs.
