William Edwin Cook of West Fork, died Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Washington Regional Medical Center in the presence of his two sons. Bill was born August 13, 1936 to Daisy Johnson Cook and Oliver Edwin Cook. Bill was an accomplished welder and one of the Greatest Welders in American History. He was a welding instructor at West Campus High School for over 30 years, a favorite of faculty and loved by students. He attended the University of Arkansas. He loved horses and raised horses and became a ferrier to the equestrian community. Survived by his two sons, Kevin Cook and Lance Cook; and daughter, Nicole Cook; and he loved his six grandchildren; his sister, Veda Rockwell; brother, Larry Cook; two nieces, Dr. Valerie Rockwell and Gwen Rockwell Thomas; and two cousins in Yukon, Oklahoma. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Beard's Funeral Chapel. Online condolences may be made to www.beardsfuneralchapel.com.
