Thelma Louise Gallaway

Thelma Louise Gallaway, 86, of Gentry, Arkansas, passed away Sept. 1, 2016, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab, Siloam Springs, Ark. Born Sept. 30, 1929, in Gentry, Ark., she was the daughter of Rue Lankford and Laveta (Tate) Lankford. She and Lester "Shorty" Gallaway were married Oct. 26, 2952. Thelma was a member of Colcord Church of Christ, Colcord, Okla. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Shorty, son Randy and granddaughter Kristy. Survivors include her son Curtis Gallaway and wife Cheryl of Combs, Ark.; daughter in law Donna Gallaway of Rogers, Ark.; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Ark. Burial will follow at Gentry Cemetery, Gentry, Ark.
