Carol Lee McGarity, 73, a resident of Peachtree Assisted Living in Farmington, passed away Sept. 2, 2016 in Fayetteville. She was born July 31, 1943 at Neosho, Mo., the daughter of Oliver and Billie Rinehart Hall. Carol was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Dutch Mills. She moved from Neosho, Mo., to Harrison, Ark., and then to Dutch Mills, Ark., in 1960. She worked in Colorado Springs for Safetran building railroad signals. She then moved to Calif. where she worked for General Dynamics building Stinger Missiles and later retired from Whirlpool in Tulsa. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Eugene McGarity; her grandparents, Henry Arthur and Lola Frailey Rinehart; her mother and father; and a half brother, Kenneth Hall. Survivors, include her sister, Debbie Eversoll and husband Roger of Dutch Mills; two nephews, Roger Dale Eversoll of North Little Rock, and Phillip Anthony Eversoll and wife Brittany of El Paso, Ark.; one great-niece Billie May Eversoll; one step-brother, Jeffrey Hall; her step-father, Bill Barton; three step-daughters, Anne Harrah, Jane McGarity, and Jovonna Jones; two step-sons, Steven and Jeffrey McGarity; one step-grandson, Douglas Jones Jr. The family will receive friends form 3-4 p.m. Sunday at the Luginbuel Chapel. Funeral Service will be held Monday, Sept. 5, 2016, 2 p.m. at the Liberty Baptist Church with Jason Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Dutch Mills Cemetery.
