Oscar Earl Taylor, 86 of Fayetteville passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born May 11, 1930 in Mechanisburg,Ohio to Edgar Earl and Helen Lorrine Martin Taylor. Oscar was a school bus driver. He served in the United States Army for 14 years and during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed leatherworking and bowling. He was an avid casino goer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Olive Taylor and his parents. Survivors include one son, Phillip Taylor of Torrington, Wyoming; one daughter, Joy O'Hara and husband Steven of Ft. Worth, Texas; three brothers, Bob Taylor and wife Barbara of Springdale, John Taylor and wife Dorsa of Diamond, Missouri and Albert Taylor and wife Marva of Springdale; six sisters, Sylvia Higgins of Johnson, Alice Vaughan of Clifty, Mildred Bone of Prairie Grove, Bonnie Strode of Springdale, Patricia Edwards of Springdale and Mary Stout and husband Bobby of Springdale; two granddaughters, Michelle O'Hara of Ft. Worth, Texas; Laura Sanderson and husband David of Godley, Texas; two great-grandchildren, Ryan Sanderson of Stephenville, Texas and Olivia Sanderson of Godley, Texas; and 31 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, October 28, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Bill Hooten officiating. Burial will follow in Stuckey Cemetery in Johnson.
