Harold is survived by his sister, Kay (Bayless) Rowe of Saint Joe and Fayetteville, Arkansas, as well as a niece, three nephews and many dear friends. Harold had a brilliant mind and received Board Certification in three separate medical specialties. He devoted a large portion of his adult life to the study and treatment of substance abuse. Among his other many interests were a lifelong love of basketball, having earned All State honors in high school, music, photography and outdoor activities, especially hunting and fishing in the wild Little River bottoms near Wilton, Arkansas. As per his wishes, no services are planned and his cremated remains will be spread at a special place close to the Buffalo National River. Memorials may be made to the June Smith Library at Yocum Elementary School in El Dorado, Arkansas or to a charity of the donor's choice.
