Judith Gale Thurow, 80, of Fayetteville, Arkansas (formerly of Macomb, Illinois) passed away on Monday, October 10th. Judith was born on January 18, 1936 in Evansville, Indiana to Thomas A. and Dorothy E. Blair Swift. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 45 years, Gordon Thurow, and a sister, Sarah Swift. Judith was an aspiring artist and architecture student. She loved animals and was a loving mother. Judith is survived by her daughter, Laurel M. Thurow of Sultan, Washington, sons, Michael G. Thurow and his wife Debi of Fayetteville, Samuel G. Thurow of New Zealand, Val G. Thurow of Industry, Illinois, and Shawn G. Thurow and his wife Tracy of Morrow, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Brandon Thurow, Ryan Brashears, Taylor Salyer, Reilly Thurow, Gaelen Thurow, and Nathan Thurow; and eight great-grandchildren. The family will have a private service on Friday, October 14th, with burial to follow at Son's Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
