Mike Slezak, 59, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away October 7, 2016. He was born July 8, 1957, in Hot Springs, to the late James Walter, Sr. and Juanita (Parker) Slezak. Mike was a graduate of Hot Springs High school in 1975, a graduate of LA Tech University in 1980, where he was a member of Sigma Pi Fraternity, and a graduate of UALR. He worked as a CPA for 35 years and was also a Real Estate Broker and owner of Slezak Realty in Hot Springs. Mike was also employed by Oaklawn Racing and Gaming. Survivors include his son, Michael Dean Slezak, Jr. (Ashley) of Port Angeles, Washington; daughter, Sarah Fuller (Michael) of Sequim, Washington; brother, Jim Slezak (Claudia) of Springdale, Arkansas; grandchildren, Alexia Jade Fuller, Adeline Danette Slezak, Weston James Fuller; nephew, Matthew James Slezak (Jenna) of Corona, California; niece, Emily Marie Slezak of Brooklyn, New York; and grandniece, Madeline Rose Slezak, of Corona, California. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. A celebration of Mike's life will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with Bro. Wade Overturf officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery. Pallbearers include Michael Dean Slezak, Jr., Matthew James Slezak, Mike Dugan, David Haupt, Jack Bardwell, and Jim Slezak. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Tim Webb, Dr. Hugh Burnett, Dr. Michael Pace, Dr. David Pruitt, Oncology Unit at CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs, Inpatient Rehab Unit at National Park Medical Center, Arkansas Hospice, and All Ages Homecare Services.
