Virginia May Campbell

Virginia May Campbell, 92, of Rogers, passed away Monday, October 3. She was born Oct. 31, 1923 in Owosso, Mich. to the late Clarence and Martha Anna Kogler Hall. For nearly 70 years she was the loving wife of Floyd Campbell, who preceded her. They were transferred in 1958 to Rogers with the opening of the Daisy Manufacturing plant. For many years she was a secretary at Central United Methodist Church in Rogers and with Walmart real-estate office. Upon her retirement she volunteered at the NWArkansas Women's Shelter Thrift Store. She enjoyed boating, fishing and bowling, but loved entertaining her friends, family and card clubs in her home. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Sharon Wonsey and Eugenia Blackledge and her brother, Clarence "Sonny" Hall. Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Campbell of Rogers; her son, Kevin Campbell (Tammy) of Springdale; her grandchildren, Aaron Campbell (Summer) of Fla., Brandon Campbell (Meagan) of Ariz., and Shawna Campbell of Springdale; six great-grandchildren, Hailey, Kylee, Macie, Parker, Presley and Aiden; her sister, Minnie Alberts of Michigan; a niece, Nancy; three nephews, Doug, Mike and Scott, and several great-nieces and great-nephews. A private graveside service and interment in Greenwood Cemetery in Marion, Mich., will be at a later date.
