Evelyn Elaine Wright

Evelyn Elaine Wright, age 69, a resident of Springdale passed away October 4, 2016 at her home. She was born February 12, 1947 in North Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of U.L. and Ada Kendrick. Evelyn was a retired insurance broker. She graduated from Oak Grove High School and was the class Valedictorian and was a cheerleader. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of 42 years Bill Wright; one daughter, Kimberly Hunt of McAllister, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Ashley Nikki Voorhies of Conway, Arkansas; one great-granddaughter, Skye Voorhies; her dog Dog; one sister, Becky Allen of Springdale; one brother, Mike Kendrick of El Paso, Arkansas; and her best friend Kathy Mercer Eades. At Evelyn's request there will be no funeral services held. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Springdale Animal Shelter.
