Johnnie Joann Thomas

Johnnie Joann Thomas, 79, of Springdale, Arkansas passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 at her residence. Johnnie was born on April 16, 1937 in Oakwood, Oklahoma, a daughter of Johnny H. Rannals and Mary Ann Rannals. She worked as an alterations designer for Dillard's. She was awarded the Volunteer Service Award by the Veterans Administration. She was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Rannals and her sister, Regina Lane. Johnnie is survived by her four children, Leonard Davis and wife Rose of Springdale, Ark., Cheryl Buxton and husband Robert of Rogers, Ark., Aaron Harvey and wife Donna and Trina Mayes all of Elkins; one sister, Linda Davis of Springdale, Arkansas; five grandchildren, James Murphy, Lenny Davis, Rosemary Davis, Rachelle Mounce and Brandon Mayes; seven great-grandchildren.
