Bernice Irene Woodruff

Bernice Irene Woodruff, 83 year-old resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died October 4, 2016 in Siloam Springs surrounded by family and friends. Born January 1, 1933 in Siloam Springs, she was the daughter of Ernest Clinton Thompson and Mary Frances Stout Thompson. Bernice retired from the Farmers Co-op, where she worked as a sales associate. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Siloam Springs. Bernice was a member and past president of the Siloam Springs Hospital Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by one son, Walter Ray Woodruff; one sister, Evelyn Jones; one brother, Marvin Thompson; and her parents, Ernest and Mary Thompson. She is survived by two sons, Roger Leon Woodruff and wife Brenda of Fort Worth, Texas, and Steven Clinton Woodruff and wife Ann of Siloam Springs; seven grandchildren, Krista Beal and husband Ted, R. Brandon Woodruff and wife Laura, Todd J. Woodruff, Katie Woodruff, Nathan Woodruff, Leta Woodruff, Emily Brown and husband Cie-J, and Clint Woodruff and wife Jessica; eighteen great grandchildren; one brother, Bill Thompson; one sister, Bonnie Newton; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, October 8, 2016 at First Assembly of God Church, Siloam Springs, with Pastor Gary Wheat officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, October 7, 2016 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.
