Roy Gordon Westman

Roy Gordon Westman of Bella Vista passed away on November 15, 2016. He was born on March 24, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois. He was the beloved husband of Leona Westman. Roy was a veteran of the Army Air Corps. After going through his basic training at Fort Chaffee, he served in the Korean Conflict as a paratrooper. He was a member of Trinity Grace Church in Rogers. Roy is survived by his wife; his children, Reese Westman and wife Adriene of La Grange, Ill., Jennifer Cannella and husband Robert of Schaumburg, Ill.; grandchildren, Carrissa Westman, Carsten and Kovin Cannella; and a sister, Bette Quinn. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 21 at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers. Burial with military honors will follow at noon in Fayetteville National Cemetery.
