Juadah Gardenhire

Juadah "Judy" Mounger Gardenhire, age 72, of Farmington Arkansas, left this earth on November 13, 2016 from Willard Walker Hospice House. She was born in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to OD and Eva Mounger on September 17, 1944. She lived her childhood in Siloam Springs graduating from Siloam High in 1962. Judy began her caregiving as a "candy striper" while in high school. She was a nurse (RNBSN) for 42 years. She worked for hospitals in NW Arkansas, Bossier City, La., Conway, Ark., and the VA Medical Center, Fayetteville, Ark. Her education included graduating from Siloam Springs High School, University of Arkansas Fayetteville, and University of Arkansas Medical Sciences Little Rock. She married Jean J. Gardenhire Jr. in 1968. She had three children and seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents. Survivors include husband (J.J.), children: Kevin Gardenhire (Kara), Justin Gardenhire (Amanda), Kristyn Baker (Jimmy) and grandchildren: Cooper and Caroline Gardenhire, Madalyn; Deklen, and Piper Gardenhire; Landon and Colby Baker: Brother Karl Mounger of Siloam Springs; Sister Ruth Jones (Larry) of Fayetteville. Plus several nieces and nephews. The service for Judy Gardenhire will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home Chapel in Siloam Springs at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Willard Walker Hospice House.
