Dorothy Collier, 76, a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away November 10, 2016 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. She was born November 29, 1939 in Cincinnati, Arkansas, the daughter of Sam Silverton and Maude Lea Franks Maxwell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Russell Collier, one brother, Bobby Maxwell; two sisters, Elmogene Tackett and Kate Cheatham; one daughter Judith Faye Collier; two grandchildren, Briana and David Claes; five stepbrothers, Jack, Paul, David, Buddy and Charles Redway; one stepsister, Ellamae Redway. Survivors include one son, Michael Collier and wife Linda of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; one daughter, Janet Claes and husband John of Buena Park, California; one sister, Deloris Wallace and husband Claude of Lincoln; three granddaughters, Harmony and Angela Collier and Makayla Claes; one great-grandson, Jaxon and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016, 2 p.m. at Rhea Community Church in Rhea, with burial in Rhea Cemetery. Online guest book, www.luginbuel.com.
