Kit Virgil Phillips

Kit Virgil Phillips, 79, of Gravette, Arkansas passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas. He was born August 3, 1937 in Bentonville, Arkansas to Rodgers and Nell Phillips. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and driving the countryside. Preceded in death by his parents; one son, Rodgers Daniel Phillips; sister, Alice Jo Phillips and step-son, David Craig Jr. Kit is survived by four daughters, Alice Bien of Gravette, Arkansas, Kimberly Phillips of Jay, Oklahoma, Lisa Mohr of Seymour, Indiana, LeeAnn Dodson of North Carolina; one son, Rodger Phillips of Gravette, Arkansas; two sisters, Mary Griffin of Gravette, Arkansas, Peggy Berks of Gig Harbor, Washington; thirteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three nephews, and two nieces. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, November 14th with a visitation beginning at 1:30 p.m. at Bethel Cemetery, south of Gravette on Hwy. 59.
