Susan Lorene Kendrick Morris

Susan Lorene Kendrick Morris, 89, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away on October 31, 2016 in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Lorene was born in Springdale to William Tell and Elizabeth Graham Kendrick on November 28, 1926. She graduated from Rogers High School in 1945 and attended Draughan's Business College in Tulsa. She married Jesse Edward Morris on February 4, 1950, at Rogers, Arkansas. Lorene worked as a secretary/bookkeeper for the Springdale Chamber of Commerce, Putnam CPA, Boone-Ritter Insurance, and Sanford Boone (Original Homes, Inc.). She was a member of First Baptist Church Springdale (Cross Church) since 1959. Lorene is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Thomas Glen Kendrick and Elmer Dean Kendrick, husband, Jesse Edward Morris, and daughter, Elizabeth Ann Morris. Lorene is survived by son, James William Morris (Vicki) of North Little Rock, grandchildren, Alicia Heinze (Craig) of Cave Springs, Ryan Morris (Meghan) of Jupiter, Fla., and Carter Morris of North Little Rock, and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 1 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2016 at Sisco Funeral Home of Springdale, followed by funeral services at 3 p.m. with Rev. Charles Foster of Cross Church, officiating.
