Pamela Jean Taylot

Pamela Jean Taylor, 70, of Rogers, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at Mercy Hospital. Pam was born on Feb. 15, 1946 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Lorene and Hubert Sweem. Pam proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1965 to 1968, during which time, she met and married her lifelong partner and husband of 49 years, Michael Taylor. The couple retired in Rogers in 1989. Pam is survived by Michael, their two sons, Andy and Robert, their grandchildren, Colesie, Carden and Lillian, and her sisters, Pearl Brown and Vickie Moore. Pam was a gentle soul who loved spending time with her family and gardening. She was a member of the American Legion and American Auxiliary Post 100 in Rogers, and an avid reader of novels of all genres. Her warm, caring personality was infectious, and she touched all those she met. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 30th at the Epting Funeral Home in Bentonville.
