Kenneth Ronald Bond, 64, of Rogers, Ark., went to be with His Lord Jesus Christ on March 26, 2016 at his home. He was born July 21, 1951 in Sikeston, Mo. to Stuart and Lavada (Morphis) Bond. He grew up in Winthrop Harbor and Waukegan, Ill. He attended Zion-Benton Township High School. Ken served in the U.S. Air Force as Loadmaster from 1969-1973 at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, Texas. After moving to Buena Park, Calif., he met and married Deborah Renicker in 1977. Ken was a master welder having worked in Santa Fe Springs, Calif., Salt Lake City, Utah and Chino Hills, Calif. He and his family moved to Rogers in 1999. From that time till the present he worked at Delta Systems and Automation, Inc. Ken enjoyed motor cycle riding, refereeing High School volleyball, umpiring High School Softball and watching the Dallas Cowboys football games. Ken loved his wife and was devoted to his family. Ken was a faithful member of Rogers First Church of the Nazarene where he was actively involved in ministering to elementary age children in Children's Church. Ken was preceded in death by his daughter, Christy Bond in 2005. He is survived by his wife, Deborah of 38 years; grandson, Jacob Bond of Rogers; three sisters, Kimberly Bond and Johnnie Thompson of San Diego, Calif. and Kaye Moore of Chattanooga, Tenn.; in-laws, Dallas and Sandra Renicker; sister-in-law, Darlene Renicker; brother-in-law, Kenton Renicker, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Rogers First Church of the Nazarene on April 2 at 11 a.m. at 4911 W Pleasant Grove Rd. In lieu of flowers, a memorial gift may be made to Samaritan Community Center (PO Box 939, Rogers, Ark. 72757) or KLRC (110 N Broadway, Siloam Springs, Ark. 72761).
