Joseph Edward Moore, Jr., 95, died March 17, 2016. He was born January 2, 1921 in Cape Girardeau, Mo. to Joseph, Sr. and Edna Moore. He was 18 when he joined the National Guard at Camp Robinson. Joe was a WWII veteran and went into the Pacific Occupation Force under MacArthur as well as served 18 months in the Korea Conflict. He then retired after 22 years of service as a Major. After retiring, Joe became a top salesman in the pharmaceutical company dome laboratories. He loved reading, and was a connoisseur of the history of great empires and nations, the great outdoors, and has been all over the world..... Joe married the love of his life, Inez Moore and they were married almost 50 years when she passed away in 2000. They had three children, Edward Moore, William Moore and Sharon Richards. He is preceded in death by his wife, Inez; one son, William and his parents. Joe is survived by his daughter, Sharon; a son, Edward; and three grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, March 21, 2016 at Mason Valley Baptist Church in Bentonville. Burial will be immediately following at Coffelt Cemetery with full military honors.
