Clarence E Bloomquist

Clarence E. Bloomquist, 96, of Bella Vista passed away on March 10, 2016 at Circle of Life Hospice surrounded by his family. He was born, raised and worked in St. Paul, Minnesota. Clarence was an accomplished painter and wallpaper hanger until his retirement. He was selected to participate in an Honor Flight in recognition of his army service in WWII. His love of golf attracted him to this area, where, in addition to his golfing, he remained active in the United Lutheran Church, square and round dancing with the Kingsdale Squares Club and ballroom dancing. He is survived by his daughters, Judith Lee, Mary Hennen, Luann Pate, Patricia Charles; numerous grand and great-grandchildren; and the love of his life, Helen Smiley. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at United Lutheran Church on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to United Lutheran Church or Circle of Life Hospice.
