Virginia Hamilton

Virginia Hamilton, 86, of Cave Springs, Arkansas passed away June 25, 2016 in Bentonville. She was born September 28, 1929 in the Cave Springs area, the daughter of Oscar and Mary Ellen Kelly Pattishall. Virginia worked as a telephone operator and at a manufacturing plant in Bentonville, but above all she was homemaker and a caregiver for many. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Cave Springs. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Hamilton, one daughter, Mary Beth Peters, granddaughter, Mechele Townzen and one great-granddaughter Natalie Beth Peters, one brother, Elmo Pattishall and one sister, Wanda Faye Pattishall. Survived by her daughters, Linda Townzen and husband Steve of Cassville, Missouri and Lee Ann Crawford and husband Randy of Cave Springs; grandchildren, Michael Townzen and wife Beth, Mindy Buttry and husband Brian, Nick Peters, Melissa Yount and husband Tim and Lee Peters; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services 10 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Cave Springs. Interment will follow at the Elm Springs Cemetery.
