Anna Lucille Hanks

Anna Lucille Hanks known by her grandchildren as "Nana", her children as "Momma" passed from this life to her eternal glory at the age of 68 on June 26, 2016. She was born May 27, 1948 to Stanley Phillip and Anna Doris Lisle. Anna was the beloved wife and friend of her one and only love, Stephen Robert Hanks of 45 years. She was a devoted mother of her two children, Christopher Hanks and Amanda Gwartney. She was the doting grandmother of Gavin, Braden, Jadyn, Easton, Trenton and Jackie. She graduated from Bentonville High school in 1966 and attended the University of Arkansas. She was a longtime insurance agent in Springdale owning her own agency as Anna Hanks Insurance Agency. She met her love, Steve, and they had their first date on December 31, 1969 to marry one year later on December 9th, 1970. She spent every ounce of her heart loving her children and grandchildren. She was always so eager to make time for her family and was never known to say, "no" to anyone in need. She was a woman that truly lived her life for others.
