Lloyd "Dave" Jones

Lloyd "Dave" Jones, of West Fork, passed away June 24, 2016 after a month-long stay at the V.A. Medical Center. He was born Aug. 27, 1957 in Pueblo, Colo. to Lloyd Dale Jones and Luella Fern Jones. He attended Pueblo County High School and belonged to Park Hill Baptist Church. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1975 during the Vietnam Era. In the early 80's, he married Patsy Cheek of Colorado Springs, Colo. He graduated from Pueblo Community College majoring in Computer Science. He was later a roofing salesman working with Rick Pryor in Pueblo and then became an over-the-road truck driver until disabled. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Dale Jones. Lloyd is survived by his mother, Luella Fern Jones; a brother, Gary Jones and wife, Debi of Cave Springs, Ark.; a sister, Linda Grindle and her husband, Don of Kimberling City, Mo.; a sister, Diane Rockwell and her husband, Richard of Gravette, Ark.; a brother, Richard Jones of Pueblo, Colo. and a brother, Raymond Jones of West Fork, Ark. He is also survived by several aunts, an uncle, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Step-family members include Jan Jones, Lana Coffman and Diane Crow, all of Colorado and Wade Olson of Oklahoma. Graveside services with military honors will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Mineral Springs Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Chapel. Pastor Rodney Weeks of Lakeview Baptist Church of Cave Springs, Ark. will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mineral Springs Cemetery Maintenance Fund, P.O.
