Luella Hamilton Jackson, 90, passed away June 24, 2016 in Rogers. She was born on Jan. 9, 1926 to the late Joseph T. and Jessie Ruth (Calhoun) Hamilton. She was the wife of the late Benjamin Jackson. Luella played the piano at New Hope Health and Rehabilitation for 20 years. She was a charter member of Open Door Baptist Church in Rogers and a member of the Daughters of the Revolution. Spending time in her flower garden was a favorite thing for her to do. Luella was a vibrant woman who spread happiness to all around her. She will be remembered as never saying a bad word about anyone. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings and granddaughter, Rebecca. She is survived by her son, David Jackson of Altus; daughter-in-law, Cindy Jackson; daughters, Patricia Jackson of Fayetteville and Margie Richards (David) of Rogers; 5 grandchildren, Mara, Laura, JD, Ben, and Steve and four great-grandchildren. A visitation will be on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Rogers City Cemetery.
