Ralph Freeman Sr. 84 of Fort. Smith passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016. He was born April 9, 1932 in Fort Smith to the late Walter and Clara Freeman. He was a member and Deacon of First Baptist Church in Fort Smith, served in the U.S. Naval Reserve, and was a Real Estate Investor. He was preceded in death by his wife Arlie Mae Freeman. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016 at First Baptist Church with burial to follow at Oak Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary. Ralph is survived by his daughter Cheryl Anderson and her husband Mike of Greenville, S.C., his son Ralph Freeman Jr. of Fort Smith, his brother Grady Freeman Sr. and his wife Towana of Fort Smith; two grandsons, Jason and Beau Anderson of Greenville, S.C. He is also survived by various nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Mac Williams, Jason Anderson, Beau Anderson, Don Moon, Grady Freeman Jr. and James Brooks. Visitation will be 5–7 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2016 at the funeral home.
