Yvonne LaRue Honeycutt

Yvonne LaRue Honeycutt, of Siloam Springs, Ark., passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016, in Springdale, Ark., at the age of 75. She was born April 3, 1941 in Stigler, Okla., to Elmer Eddie and Jessie Iona (Gibson) Sappington. Yvonne married Herman Honeycutt on January 13, 1969 and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Orban Sappington; and her parents. She is survived by three daughters: Jackie and Jeff Hadel of Siloam Springs, Ark., Lisa and Ross Taft Jr. of Siloam Springs, Ark., Laneesa Honeycutt of Springdale, Ark.; three sons: Wayne Honeycutt of Westville, Okla., Jim Honeycutt of Texas, Rick and Wendy Honeycutt of Lakeland, Fla.; two sisters: June Meeks of Texas, Fran Jones of Broken Arrow, Okla.; One brother: Wesley Sappington of Texas; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Yvonne enjoyed traveling, music, reading, and gardening. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed having family gatherings. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Mallory Chapel, Stigler, Okla., with Rev. Steve Welch officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory of Stigler. Pallbearers will be; Davey Burdick, Kyle Burdick, Dylan Burdick, Dustin Honeycutt, Matt Honeycutt, Wayne Honeycutt. Honorary Pallbearers; Jeff Hadel, Ross Taft Jr. John Taft. Family visitation 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 14. at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home, 1401 E. Main Street, in Siloam Springs, Ark.
