Otto Ira Bryant

Otto Ira Bryant 86, of Witter, Arkansas died June 5, 2016 at the Willard Walker Hospice Home at Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born December 2, 1929 at Boston, Arkansas the son of Lonnie and Lucy Keck Bryant. He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from the Public Service of Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Gerald Bryant and two daughters, Janet Bryant and Judy Bryant. Survivors include: his wife, whom he married on December 19, 1953, Shirley Phillips Bryant of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Marvin and Anita Bryant of Pryor, Oklahoma; four brothers, Garland Bryant of Clifty, Arkansas, Porter Bryant of Springdale, Arkansas, Eddie Bryant of Kingston, Arkansas and Jerry Bryant of Boston, Arkansas; four sisters, Gertie Burnett of Alabam, Arkansas, Ann Christian of Alpena, Arkansas, Jan Tripp of Springdale, Arkansas and Vada Acrey of Pueblo, Colorado; five grandchildren, Jimi Bryant, Niki Fowler, Rodney Bryant, Summer Painter and Kenan Bryant; three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday June 9 in the Brashears Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Loren Collins officiating. Interment will be in the Venus Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net at Huntsville. Pallbearers will be: Marvin Bryant, Jimi Bryant, Rodney Bryant, Arron Fowler, Larry Phillips and Niki Fowler. Honorary pallbearers will be: Jimmy Williams, Garland Bryant, Porter Bryant, Eddie Bryant and Jerry Bryant. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with the family present.
