Clara Mildred Gulledge

Mildred Davis Gulledge, 75, of the Flemings Creek Community died June 5, 2016 at the Willard Walker Hospice Home at Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born August 17, 1940 at home on Flemings Creek the daughter of Loye Paul "Doe" and Derice "Dee" Ragsdale Davis. She was a longtime member of the Saint Paul Church of Christ and then the Combs Church of Christ. Mildred married Bobby Wayne Gulledge on May 4, 1957 and he preceded her in death on December 3, 2014. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Bruce Wayne and Len Otto Gulledge, and two sisters, Sylvia Davis VanBrunt and Shirley Davis Brown. Survivors include: one son and wife, Bobby Ray Gulledge and Teresa of Combs, Arkansas, two daughters and husbands, Nina Gulledge Schlob and Alfred of Houston, Texas and Beverley Gulledge Sallee and Wayne of Flemings Creek, Arkansas; one daughter-in-law, Kim Gulledge Smith of Pettigrew, Arkansas; one sister, Joyce Davis Hughes; of Garfield, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, many nephews and nieces, and many other special people Mildred and Bobby took into their home that are always considered family. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 8 at the Combs Church of Christ with Reverend Sam Judd and Gaylon Lamb, Minister officiating. Interment will be in the Combs Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net at Huntsville. Pallbearers will be: Neil Smith, Jesse Osburn, Chris Gulledge, Justin Gulledge, Trevor Gulledge, Cole Williams and Dustin Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be: Tracy Osburn, Maranda Olvera, Wayne Sallee, Alfred Schlob, Sabrina Hattabaugh and Lensey Hawthorne.
