Janie Lee Thomas, age 67, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, July 28, 2016 in Fayetteville. She was born July 19, 1949 in Fayetteville, the daughter of George and Edna Rogers Thomas. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Roy Lynn Thomas. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and was a member of Center Street Church of Christ in Fayetteville. She liked traveling and enjoyed bus trips with her friends. She is survived by a brother, James A. Thomas & his wife Lucille of Elkins; a niece, LeAnna Shelley & her husband Steven of Fayetteville; a nephew, Mark Thomas & his wife Eva of Springdale; four great-nieces & nephews, Andrew Shelley, Sarah & Jeff Price & Michael Thomas and numerous other family members. Visitation will be 10 a.m., Monday, August 1, 2016 at Center Street Church of Christ followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at the church.
