Dale Dover

Funeral services for Dale Dover, 70, of Joshua, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2016 at Marystown Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Russell officiating. Burial will follow at Caddo Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6–8 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Rosser Funeral Home. Dale passed away Monday, July 25, 2016 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Chester, Arkansas on April 15, 1946, the son of Hazel (Castor) and George Dover. Dale married Lynn Wells on October 5, 1976 in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was a retired programmer with Radio Shack. After his retirement, Dale was a gifted handy man for friends and the community. Each job was met with enthusiasm. He was a member of Marystown Baptist Church. Dale was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Lloyd Dover. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Dover of Joshua; sons, Bill Dover and wife, Blanca of Bentonville, Arkansas, Jim Dover and wife, Cecilie of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and Brent Lynn of Fort Worth; daughter, Brandy Hommel and husband, Troy, of Burleson, Texas; grandchildren, Caleb Dover, Joshua Dover, Judy Dover, Bianca Dover, Rebekah Dover, Jacob Hommel and Elizabeth Hommel; sisters, Glenda Hyman and Carol Easley, both of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; and several other family members and friends.
