Harold Van Parette

Harold Van Parette, age 83, of Fayetteville, died Monday, July 18, 2016 in Fayetteville. He was born June 8, 1933 in Morrilton, Arkansas, the son of George and Violet VanMarion Parette. He was retired from Lindsey Construction and was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Ann Parette; three sons, Randy Parette and his wife Angela of West Fork, Steve Parette and his wife Cindy of Fayetteville and Jeffery Parette and his wife Ashley of Fayetteville; a daughter Cindy Short of Pompano Beach, Florida; five grandchildren, Brandon Morris, Andrew Morris, Renae Parette, Jeffery Parette and Annsley Parette; four great-grandchildren Jayden Morris, Addison Morris, Michael Morris and Maverick Morris; a brother, Charles Parette of Coweta, Oklahoma and a sister, Sharon Robertson of Morrilton. Cremation arrangements are by Moore's Chapel. A gathering and a memorial service will be held 4-6 p.m. Sunday July 24, 2016 at the Fayetteville Town Center.
