Joana Ruth Lusk

Joana Ruth Lusk, 86, of Fayetteville passed away Friday, July 15, 2016 in Fayetteville. She was born Aug. 8, 1929 in West Frankfort, Ill., to John and Naoma Randolph Webb. She moved from Villa Park, Ill., to Mountain Home, Ark., in 1968. While in Villa Park, Ill., she sang in the Chicago Symphony Choir for three years and worked as youth choir director at Calvary Church. From Mountain Home, she moved to Fayetteville in 1970 where she had worked as choir director at Sequoyah United Methodist Church. Joana had been a private voice and piano teacher for over 35 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Naoma Randolph Webb and John Myles Webb; a son, Jonathan Scott Lusk and a brother, John David Webb. Joana is survived by her husband, Robert R. Lusk of the home; son, Robert (Randy) Lusk and wife, Francie of Hot Springs Village; daughter, Ruthanne Lusk Whitehead and husband, Mark of Bentonville; son, Kevin Todd Lusk and wife, Corrie of Sheridan; five grandchildren, Robbie Lusk, Christie Jackson, Tiffany Whitehead, Brently Lusk and William Lusk; and six great-grandchildren. A private family memorial service will be held in Mountain Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Bentonville (choir), 201 N.W.
