Billy Howard Sergeant

Billy Howard Sergeant, 71, a resident of West Fork, passed away July 15, 2016 in Springdale. He was born June 6, 1945 at Fayetteville, the son of Howard and Meril Ruth Brinson Sergeant. Bill was a member of the West Fork Baptist Church. He was a life long dedicated volunteer. He retired from the West Fork Fire Department where also was a First Responder. He served on the Central EMS board of directors for ten years. He was also a member of the Emergency Operations Center of Washington County. He was a past West Fork City Council member. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Tom. Survivors include his wife, Karen Sergeant; one son, Michael J. Sergeant and wife, Kim of West Fork; His step father, J.B. "POP" Curtsinger and wife, Jean; one step son, Avery Johnson and wife, Colbi of Fayetteville; one brother, Joe Sergeant of Tontitown; one granddaughter, Krista Wood and husband, Aaron; two great-grandchildren, Ella and Alexander "Xander" who was born on Bill's birthday; one step granddaughter, Stella; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2016 2 p.m. at the West Fork Community Center in West Fork with Heath Clower officiating. Online guest book, www.luginbuel.com.
