Alice McClung

Alice McClung, 91 of Springdale, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. She was born May 18, 1925 in Morrow, Arkansas to Robert Franklin McCarty and Lillie Belle Hurst-McCarty. Alice was a homemaker and a member of Gospel Tabernacle Church in Lowell. She was dedicated to her church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buford McClung; one son, Talmadge McClung; six brothers and four sisters. Survivors include one son, James Ronald McClung of Oklahoma; one daughter, Reta Lee and husband Rick of Springdale; one brother, Dwayne McCarty and wife Rita of Stella, Missouri; one sister, Ruth Corter of Lowell; three grandchildren, Chris Lee, Michelle Lee and Christie Nelson; four great grandchildren, Peyton Brady, Alexis Lee, Elijah Pando and Tristan Lee. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Gospel Tabernacle of Lowell with Pastor Bobby Main officiating. Burial will follow on Friday, July 15, 2015 at noon at Arlington Memory Gardens Cemetery in Oklahoma City. Visitation will take place from 9 to 10 a.m. at Gospel Tabernacle on Thursday.
