L.J. Stephens

L.J. Stephens, 86, of Fort Smith, Ark., formerly of Osceola, Ark., passed away June 27, 2016, in Brooksville, Fla. He was born July 16, 1929 in Pine Bluff, Ark., to Louis and Reba Stephens, deceased. L.J. was a new car dealer in Arkansas for many years. He was a board member of the Arkansas Automobile Dealers Association, past president of Osceola Chamber of Commerce and a board member of the First National Bank of Osceola. He was a Marine, serving during the Korean War. L.J. is survived by his son, Jimmy Stephens of Fort Smith and grandson, Jay Stephens of Bentonville. He is preceded in death by his brother, Herman Stephens of Fordyce and his sister, Eloise of Texas. Graveside services will be held in Pine Bluff, Ark., at a later date.
