Owen Theodore De Wert

Owen Theodore De Wert, 79, of Bella Vista died Friday, July 1, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers. He was born in Rochester, N.Y. on April, 21, 1937, the son of Monica and Roger De Wert. Owen worked for JB Hunt Transportation for over 25 years, serving in many areas of the company, including Project Manager. He and his wife attended Bella Vista Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Owen is survived by his wife, Annette DeWert; two daughters, Gwendolyn Wetherby and her husband, Michael of Bella Vista, Linda Lisi and her husband, Joey of New York; one son, Owen De Wert Jr. and his wife, Becky of New York; many grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends.
