Larry Alton Thomas

Larry Alton Thomas, beloved by his family and friends, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2016. He was born May 12, 1947 in Health, Ark., the son of Lester and Martha (Taylor) Thomas. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Vietnam era. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister, Marlene Thomas. Survivors include his children, Tony Thomas of Fort Smith, Jackie Young of Combs, James Bynum of Mulberry, Roger Young of El Dorado, Jerry Young of Sulphur City and Linda Caldwell of El Dorado; three brothers, Donald Thomas of Hazel Valley, Jerry Thomas of Japton and Hank Thomas of Fayetteville; one grandchild and three great-grandchildren. Final resting place is at U.S. National Cemetery, Fort Smith, Ark.
