Thomas Roy Evans

Thomas Roy Evans, 71, of Rogers, Ark. died Jan. 27, 2016 at his residence. He was born Feb. 6, 1944 in Lubbock, Texas to R.D. Evans and Erline Heddins Evans. He retired from the United States Navy. Survivors: Janet Clemmons Evans; daughters, Lisa Jameson and Sabrina Perry of Rogers; four grandchildren, Ashley Luzzi, Brooke Boller, Madison Boger and Haley Perry; seven great-grandchildren and one brother, Alvin Evans of Lubbock, Texas. Memorial service: 10 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016 at Southside Church of Christ in Rogers with Minister Jackie Chesnutt officiating. Burial: 1 p.m. at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville with full military honors. Arrangements are by Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers. Memories may be shared at stockdalefuneral.com.
