Ethel Imogene Neal Parks, 88, of Huntsville, Ark. died Jan. 22, 2016 at Huntsville. She was born Oct. 3, 1927 at Mante, Ark. the daughter of Lester and Clara Dorsey Neal. She married Dearld E. Parks on June 22, 1947 and lived in Madison County all of their married life. They were married sixty-one and a half years when he passed away on Jan. 29, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her parents and twin sisters, Maxene Marshall and Marlene Keck. She graduated from Huntsville State Vocational School class of 1945, was a homemaker and a member of Huntsville Freewill Baptist Church since 1955. She worked 34 years at the Huntsville Livestock Auction. Imogene loved her church, going to the Madison County Senior Activity Center and traveling on Happy Trail Tours. Survivors include: two brothers-in-law; Jack and Dorothy Parks of Minden, La. and John and Earlene Parks of Springdale, Ark.; three sisters-in-law, Carolyn and Phil Hudspeth of Farmington, Ark., Joyce and Glenn Roberts of Huntsville, Ark. and Terry Hall of Springdale, Ark.; and several nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27 at the Huntsville Freewill Baptist Church with Reverend Glen Faulkner and Reverend Jim Spurlock officiating. Interment will be in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net at Huntsville. Pallbearers will be: Buddy Spurlock, Brent Gurley, Gary Ditmore, Keith Phillips, Bill Nelson and Michael Grigg. Honorary pallbearers will be: Jim Spurlock, Eldon Bagwell, Jerry Vaughan, Don Carter, Gary Stafford, Wade Graham and Charles Gurley. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with the family present. Memorials may be made to the Madison County Senior Activity Center.
