Dorothy Carol Dickey, 97, of Pea Ridge, died Saturday, January 9 at Innisfree Nursing Center in Rogers. She was born July 31, 1918 in Bass, Arkansas to James Rosco McCutcheon and Cora Mae Wasson McCutcheon. Dorothy grew up in the Mt. Judea, Ark. area where she taught school in Bass, Ark. and surrounding little towns. She loved to garden, was an avid Razorback fan and loved to watch Cardinals Baseball. She retired from Daisy Manufacturing in Rogers and was a member of Southside Church of Christ in Rogers. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband James Dickey; a grandson, Chance Thompson; one brother and five sisters. Survivors are a daughter, Barbara Greene of Pea Ridge; a brother, Wilbert McCutcheon of Harrison, Ark.; a grandson, Berton Greene and wife Cori of Cassville; a granddaughter, Bronda Howell of Pea Ridge and five great-grandchildren. Service is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 13 at Southside Church of Christ in Rogers. Burial will be in Benton County Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
