Audrey Ellen Hooshagen

Audrey Ellen Hooshagen, 95, of Bella Vista, Arkansas died January 4, 2016. She was born on September 23, 1920 in Rygate, Montana to Nicholas Hoogshagen and Effie (Noordsy) Hoogshagen. She moved to Bella Vista in January 1989 from Long Beach, California. She was a very active volunteer in the Bella Vista Historical Society, Pea Ridge National Military Park, and the Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce. Audrey loved to play golf and had a great love for animals. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers. She is survived by one brother, Howard Hoogshagen of Bella Vista, Arkansas; two sisters, Erma DeWilde of Lennox, South Dakota and Joan Hooshagen of Bella Vista, Arkansas. A memorial service will held at Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, January 6, 2016 at 2 p.m with the Rev. Rex A. Dickey officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bella Vista Library, 11 Dickens Place, Bella Vista, Arkansas 72714 or the Bella Vista Animal Shelter, 32 Bella Vista Way, Bella Vista, Ark. 72714.
