James "Mac" McTier, 50, of Bentonville, died Saturday, February 20, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. He was born August 14, 1965, at Wrens, Georgia, to Kimmell Paul McTier and Agnes Louise Inglett McTier. He was a long-haul truck driver for Frontier Leasing in Joplin, MO. He enjoyed working on cars, being outdoors and spending time with his daughters. He is preceded in death by his father. Survivors are his mother, Agnes McTier of Wrens, Georgia; two daughters, Mackenzie McTier Morgan McTier, and their mother, Tammy Sutherland all of Pea Ridge; one brother, David McTier (Lucy) and one sister Ruth Ann Clark (Jerry) all of Wrens, Georgia; four nephews, Jace and Ty McTier, and Cameron and Will Clark. Special thanks to close friends, Larry and Michael Bryson, Robert Waclawski, Gordan Reynolds, and Gilbert and Patty of Frontier Leasing. Cremation was by Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge. A visitation is set for 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 4, at Sisco Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, March 5, at New Prospect Baptist Church in Garfield with burial at Bayless Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at siscofuneralhome.net.
