Dennis Earl Blake

Dennis Earl Blake, 69, of Fayetteville died Saturday, February 20, 2016 in Fayetteville. He was born March 19, 1946 in Salina, KS. to Earl and Elanore Statts Blake. He was a retired veteran with the Army/Air Force having served during the Vietnam Era. He retired from Washington Regional Medical Center working in multimedia. Dennis enjoyed music and talk radio. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, David Blake; and a daughter, Barbara Blake. Dennis is survived by his wife, Renee Henderson Blake of the home; two sons, Michael Blake and wife, Diana of Springdale and Gregory Blake of New Jersey; two daughters, Aleasyn Self and husband, William of OK. and Andi Beth Devoe and husband, Michael of Florida; a stepson, Mason Ware and wife, Chana of Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Beard's Chapel with Reverend Harry Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow in the Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Chapel with military honors. Pallbearers will be Ethan Blake, Michael Blake, Josh Frey, Chris Martin, John McCullar and William Self.
