Virginia Mae Rogers, age 86, of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016. She was born April 6, 1929 in Russell, Kentucky to the late Charles and Emma Alexander Lunsford. She was a charter member of Western Hills Baptist Church in Fayetteville, where she served as the church Treasurer. In addition to her devotion to the church, she also cherished being Nana and Grandma. Virginia is survived by four sons; Gary W. Edwards (Victoria), of Cool Ridge, West Virginia, Walter S. Edwards (Lynn), of Stanford, West Virginia, Charles S. Edwards, of West Virginia, Butch Rogers (Pearl), of West Fork, Arkansas, two daughters; Debra Adkins, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Diane Bryant (Rod), of Kettering, Ohio, 13 grandchildren; Robert, Michelle, Whitney, Hayden, Jeff, Chris, Joe, Heather, Jessica, Tyler, Katlyn, Douglas, and Blue, seventeen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one son Donald Edwards, and grandson Chad Rogers. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Western Hills Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
