Talon Lee Carsten

Talon Lee Carsten, 23, passed from this world on January 30th, 2016 in Denver, Colorado. Talon was born in Lawrence, KS to Jerry Carsten, Jr and Stormie Hankins Gold. Talon was known for his ability to make everyone feel special. With his incredible smile, a nod of his beautiful head of hair, and his signature phrase "It's All Good", he wove his way into the hearts of many people from all over. His passion for music led him to the Art Institute of Colorado to bring to life his dream of producing music. Prior to going to college, Talon spent his childhood working alongside his family at Carsten Concessions. He was his Dad's pride and joy, and will be greatly missed by his family and many, many friends. Survivors include his father and step-mother: Jerry Carsten Jr. and Vicky Carsten of Siloam Springs, Ark.; his mother and step-father: Stormie Gold and Brian Gold of Springfield, Mo.; two brothers: Joshua Carsten of Denver, Colo. and Jesse Carsten of Siloam Springs, Ark.; two sisters: Cassie Carsten of Springfield, Mo. – mother of his two nieces, Ally and Bella; and Amanda Short Honsinger and his brother-in-law and childhood best friend, Adam Honsinger of Bella Vista, Ark.; paternal grandfather: Jerry Carsten Sr. of Kirbyville, Mo.; paternal grandmother: Mary Lou Tindall of Siloam Springs, Ark.; maternal grandmother: Margaret Meads of Joplin, Mo.; step-grandparents: Roy Rogers Jr. of Rogers, Ark. and Wynona Rogers of Bentonville, Ark. Talon is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of Talon's life will be held on Saturday, February 13 at 11 a.m. in the Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers. In addition to the Funeral Services, a celebration of Talon's life is scheduled for immediately after the service at the Holland Barn in Highfill, Ark., where everyone is encouraged to come. Talon's life will be shared through music, videos, dancing, and lots of food.
