J. D. Snow

J.D. Snow, 87, of Bentonville, died Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at his home. He was born July 18, 1928 in Clarksville to Roosevelt and Kella (Brown) Snow. J.D. served in the Navy during WWII. He was a barber throughout his life and retired from the Washington County Sherriff's Office as a Lieutenant with the Criminal Investigation Division. He enjoyed roping and fox hunting. He was preceded in death by two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Anna (Webb) Snow, whom he married September 26, 1948 in Russellville; three children, Jamia Tomlinson of Springdale, Marty Snow and wife Karen of Strang, Oklahoma, Hank Snow and wife Shawnna of Bentonville; one sister, Dianna Foster of Richland Hills, Texas; five grandchildren, Jesse Snow, Lacy Fields, Tyler Fields, Bailee Snow, Brodee Snow; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, February 6, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Elm Springs Cemetery.
