Robert Dale Hausam

Robert Dale "Bob" Hausam, 65, of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, died February 2, 2016 at Prairie Grove Health and Rehab in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. He was born June 22, 1950 at Okmulgee, Oklahoma, the son of Herbert C. and Reema Lois Hathorn Hausam. He was a retired Senior Materials Inspector for the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department. While raising his two sons, Bob instilled his love of the outdoors including camping, hunting, fishing and racing motorcycles with the boys. Other interests included playing guitar, taekwondo, throwing darts and woodworking. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, David C. Hausam. Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Shane E. and Marty Hausam and Jubal G. and Misty Hausam, all of Farmington, Arkansas; one brother and sister-in-law, Richard A. and Billie Hausam of Rogers, Arkansas and eight grandchildren, Coleman, Trystyn, Shelbie, Quintin, Will, Jessica, Addisyn and Eli. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 5, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with The Reverend Glen Faulkner officiating. Interment will be in the Upper Campground Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Coleman Hausam, Trystyn Jones, Robin Lynn, Doug Laningham, Harold Dean Howell, P.J. Smith Jr. and JD Hawthorn. Visitation 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at Brashears.
